Thats a party thing. They elected the candidate they thought could beat McCain. Of the 3 Democratic finalist, one was a woman and also a person that has rubbed many people the wrong way in addition to the deeds of her husband. The other finalist was caught in a scandalous affair while campaigning. But anyway, the Confederate flag is still flown proudly, things are not that different in the South. A few people make it, but millions are poor, undereducated, unequal healthcare. Property values still drop when blacks move into a neighborhood. Gentrification is alive and well. Lets just tell the whole story about history. There is no negative of the kids getting the museum experience. its not lies, its history.
