Its pretty rare and a rather disastrous season when MU doesn't appear in the top 20 at some point during the season. Even in bad/down years, we usually are ranked at various points. The only coach who has failed to field a nationally relevant program is Kim, but of course that is the case because he is a D2 coach building a D2 program in the SEC.
