There's a skill to fundraising. Mike had it. Was by far his best ability. Sterk appears very good at it as well (which is big).

On the whole, Mike Alden was a tremendous positive to Mizzou. He gets a lot of a crap deservedly for hiring Frank/Kim and creating this on court program, but to say he was a sub-par AD for Mizzou is revisionist. How many ADs get this program in the SEC? Mike deserves a lot of credit for that.
