I'm telling you that there would be decent price discovery. As in, stocks will be more appropriately priced, with far more realistic price-earnings ratios.

Enron? Correct me if I am wrong, but the Enron rise and collapse occurred in the heavily regulated markets that you are desperately defending in this very thread.
