Trump used the full force of the Federal Government, and hell he's not even President yet, to threaten Carrier's livelihood, and then he used the bounty from government's theft powers to pay them off with a freebie. I'm sure at some point down the road he may also personally benefit financially from the deal.

But, this is done all the time, so it doesn't shock me a bit.
