more than once or twice a decade is just dumb. i don't even know why successful programs exist. all they do is set up their fans to expect something more than failure, which we all know is the only possible outcome.

i was talking to a kentucky fan the other day and i asked him what he expects next year and he said pretty much everyone expects kentucky to finish above .500. I said "HAHA YOU LOSER THAT'S EXACTLY WHY YOU'LL NEVER BE GOOD AT BASKETBALL HAHAH YOU'RE A LOSER!" and then after sitting and thinking about it for a moment, he agreed. he's going to talk to all the other kentucky fans so that they lower their expectations too.
