The best case scenario, which as you correctly point out is a very unlikely outcome, is still a bad season. The problem we face is not simply next year, its that all options lead to MU being an irrelevant lower rung SEC program. Which other than about 5 or 6 weeks combined is what we have been since 2014.

MU basketball is striving for mediocrity but almost always coming up short of that mark. There remains no plausible scenario that MU actually has a good season.
