that it then depends on how badly boosters want a player. In Alabama, college football is everything. People will pay a hefty price to get a recruit. That's not the case in Missouri and it most likely never will be; there's just too much competition with pro sports. A booster funded spending war is the last thing Mizzou or college sports in general need. It just concentrates the wealth even more than it already is concentrated in the hands of a few programs.
