It'll be interesting to see what happens with high-profile recruits who want to sign endorsements with one brand but play for a school with a contract for the other brand.
I disagree, though, that the disparity gets worse. It'll change some, but it won't be worse. Some schools will be able to leverage resources they can't (legally) leverage now. Others will be the victims of that. But there's still the same amount of talent to go around, and players will still want to play (especially if riding the bench limits endorsement income). There are only so many roster spots Kentucky can offer.
What will be most interesting to me is how this affects the decisions of players considering going pro. If a player like Tilmon and Pinson, for example, can earn side income in college, will they consider leaving early? Less likely. Meanwhile, if a starter at Kentucky makes $500k in endorsements, will he be in a rush to go pro if he isn't a first-round lock? Maybe not. And those borderline NBA players staying longer could actually cause more talent to trickle down to programs like Mizzou.
