Being a 'dumb Beaker' doesn't sit well with me, TigerA. My purpose in coming here is to be educated. There are so many aspects about college basketball that are totally over my simple head.

With that in mind, can't you or Professor FIJI or anyone else have a go in attempting to explain this dichotomy with regard to the issue of standing in the polls that was presented in my previous post?
