I get amused by the criticism that Cuonzo gets

Of 3 tournaments in 11 seasons. Now I don’t know if he will be great, but here’s some of the best coaches did in their first 3 seasons at non bluebloods.

Cal
UMASS 0 tournaments in 3 years
Memphis 1 tournament in 3 years
He did make the tournament in 9 of his other 10 years at those schools

Jay Wright
Hofstra 3 losing seasons
Villanova 0 tournaments, over his last 15 seasons has 14 tournaments

Mike Anderson
AUB 2 tournaments in 3 years
Mizzou 1 in 3 years
Arkansas 0 in 3 years

I could go on but most have similar records. If he stays at Mizzou 10 years it will be interesting to see how his reputation will change.
