Votes in the national polls every week for six years. And you sound as if you're proud of that.

Hmmm. Color me confused.

You-know-who has been ranked in the Top 10 in the final AP Poll nine times in the last 10 seasons. And in the final Top 10 of the Coach's Poll eight times in the last 10 seasons. (The other ones, 2009 and 2015, they finished in the Top 20.) Yet we have been told for years that that -- standing in the polls -- like conference championships (since 1994), is 'meaningless' in college basketball.

Correct?

And getting to the Sweet 16 is a five year goal, when getting to the Elite Eight -- and no further -- is 'failure' and 'underachievement', is it not?

So what gives?
