1. So would be an ace recruiter type like Dave Rice. Could at least pump the program full of legitimate talent.
2. "his players" are headed for an all time bad power 5 season. First of all, how do we know they'll improve? Secondly, how do we know they'll stay?
3. Right now we don't need great. We need anyone who can get us back to average. Also, you could say this about any season. You don't wait for the right hire, you go find the right hire.
4. Any coach with at this level knows a 3 year run like this and you're done.
5. I'm guessing this is not really a concern for most coaches. They have egos and work through it.
6. I don't want this staff adding any more of their "talent". Let's keep CJ Roberts and move on.
7. A coaching change next year would inherit upperclassmen with tons of experience in Barnett, Phillips, Puryear, and Walton.
