Hughes got the minutes he did the other day with Geist, Barnett, and Walton missing. When you add 3 guys to any rotation, the minutes of the existing guys go down. It is a certainty. Everyone expects Walton and Barnett to be the minutes leaders on the wing, taking minutes directly from CVL and Hughes.

Now, we're talking about one game where we don't even know how many minutes that Hughes played. It is a small sample size, but the basic math remains. I'm not saying Hughes' minutes cut in half or otherwise plummet dramatically. But his minutes will be impacted.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
