Creighton double up MU 20-10 in the first session and 11-3 in the 2nd session before the Tigers began to play. Given CU jumped to a lead in the 2nd session after MU played them "even" late in the first session, I'm led to wonder if Creighton what the final score differential would be starters-vs-starters. Probably somewhere in 20s.
MU spent all last year falling behind by double-digit leads in nearly every conference game. Can't spend another season doing that.
