to contribute in year 4, opting instead for one- and two-year transfers in his first class.

So rather than bringing in freshmen who would have contributed in year four, he chose winning in year two at the expense of year four, which others have described in this thread as using bandaids and duct tape rather than truly building a foundation.

In his second season, he chose to play those transfers over Jankovich and Webster-Chan, which lead to them leaving for greener pastures.

But we don't blame Frank for those decisions, because he won 23 games. And left nothing behind when he bolted.
