Its not realistic to not expect a decline from that starting point, particularly when basically the entire roster turns over due to exhausting the eligibility.
Haith would have continued to 'decline', and likely only won like 20 games in 2013-14 instead of the 8 we actually did win. That would have seen him justifiably fired. Hardly anyone is advocating he should have been retained. That point is that the expectations some are putting on Kim are so absurdly low simply because we already know he can't do this job and at least that gives some hope that he can reach those low benchmarks. Failing to a lesser degree is not success.
