Spread the floor, take it to the rack with their superior athletes, and kick out to a sharpshooter from 3. And guess what? It doesn't always work! Sometimes the other team stops the drive or you miss the shot. And conversely, you hope you can instill enough defensive prowess into your McD's to keep the other team from scoring more than you. At the end of the night, did you outscore the other team?

Granted, there are moments when a coach dials something up and it wins a game, or a NC, in 'Nova's case. 95% of the time, a coach is managing fouls and player substitution.

You think Norm Stewart's coaching skills declined at the end because of him or the lack of talent?

Fiji knows basketball.
