just like a bad one can hurt you a little. But in P5 basketball you aren't going to be a program who makes the NCAA tourney consistently without good talent. Bo Ryan and Johnny Jones are the two opposite ends of the spectrum for this. Bo Ryan has put a few players in the NBA the past few years. He had talent and was able to coach them up and make the NC game. Johnny Jones but a few players in the NBA too and didn't do very much with them.
