back to relevance in our conference or nationally. This third year should be all he gets to show significant progress. If we win fewer than 15 games (which I believe is likely), he should be fired.
I know some will argue that he inherited a mess, and to some extent I don't disagree, but he chose to take the job, and surely he knows enough about college basketball to know that coaches don't get 4 or 5 years to turn around a program.
To date, he hasn't maximized the talent he's gotten, he hasn't signed enough great players, and his teams have not improved notably from the beginning of the season to the end. We have no offensive or defensive identity, and his players are transferring away at an alarming rate. All of this points to a coaching deficiency.
