2010 (#18/22 class), 2013 (#5/40 class), 2014 (#16/35 class) and adequate seasons in 2009 and 2011 (both 8 and 5). [First number is ending national rank and second number is recruiting class rank].
As has been noted many times, class rank is a function of many things, number of recruits (not recruiting for need either), respect for program history and brand (e.g., Alabama, Ohio State, etc.), and whether or not recruits have participated in camps and have film (see 2*'s Britt, Brown, Alexander, Jackson, Gachkar, Sulak, Spoon, TRuck, etc.). Class rank punditry is generally a stretch when it comes to other than 5 star and top 4 star recruits.
