The singular example in NCAA history of doing less with more and despite a strong desire to be an NBA coach nobody will hire him based on his limited coaching abilities.

I don’t think there is much evidence at all that he could run a successful legitimate major conference program, and there certainly was no such evidence when MU was searching for a candidate to replace Norm.
