years. This should especially be the case now with the ability to pay players. Rather than let a team suck for decades, you go out and get the best 5 guys you can afford. I am not sure how this is so complicated. You spend good money on players and get that back and more with increased attendance at games. I would much rather pay several million to get decent players rather than firing coaches every few years.
