MU lost 5 of its final six games the season preceding Haith, then lost bowers for the season in an offseason injury, and added a class of nobody so they had a rotation of 7 players. That was not a ready made final four roster. He was recognized as NCOY due to the vast improvement his coaching made on the roster.
Bliss’s impact and the subsequent fallout at Baylor was not as impactful as Kim’s tenure on the MU program. It was more nefarious, but Kim was more harmful to MUs program than Bliss was to Baylor’s.
