that you're a fairly flighty and irrational person at heart, but this takes the cake.
Baylor had a coach who tried to help cover up a murder of one of his own players. They recovered in short order and are still going strong 20 years later. That's an example of something a reasonable person might believe a program can't (or maybe shouldn't) recover from.
This thing where you say Mizzou can't or hasn't recovered from the Kim years is incredibly laughable. First off, everyone knows Haith was sketchy when he got bailed out of his Miami situation and landed at Mizzou. He walked into a ready-made FF team and found a way to lose that immediately entering the tourney IIRC. Then he got worse every year and bailed to TULSA the minute he knew you guys were going to get busted. Kim Anderson walks in not realizing that he's about to go on probation, and still deals anyway..sucked but got better each year he was at Mizzou, and then you guys make the tourney the year after he's fired, largely without the main recruit that should have gotten you there.
Cuonzo does what every rational Mizzou fan knew he'd do, based on his track record. Walk in with some momentum of new change, slowly roll down the hill and leave right before he's fired...or in your case, stay b/c that paycheck is worth getting fired over.
That's how I recall it...
