received an answer. How, after those 3 disastrous, program cratering years was Mizzou immediately able to field an extremely competitive, top 20 caliber team?

I'll tell you why. It's because the program had within it the foundation of a half dozen or so solid D1, competent, team first players who worked well with the young talent Cuonzo brought in.

Undisputable fact - The Mizzou mens bb program was absolutely thriving in the immediate aftermath of Kim Anderson.
