They went 10-21 and got last in the SEC. It was a totally meaningless penalty
MU also self imposed a six week phone recruiting ban during the 2016-17 season, the only infraction that could even arguably be said to have marginally limited recruiting. Similar to the post season ban when we weren’t going to play in the postseason, scholarship reductions were irrelevant because at no time did we ever sign a full roster to even reach the reduced scholarship amount.
