very comparable to Kim's at MU. His 4th year was much better and the 5th looks like a breakthrough season for that long down program.

You would have piled on Fred just like you have Kim and just thrown out all the hard work involved with building a solid foundation. In Kim's case made even more difficult by unavoidable consequences from the decency and integrity challenged coach Haith.

Gates' challenge will be putting a complete team on the floor that competes in every area. As with the old Smokey and the bandit song he's got a long way to go and a short time to get there, IMO.
