You can’t turn a program around instantly, that is a different thing and what our fans keep falling for. We are now the worst program in the SEC over the last decade. For any sustained success we have to move past and consistently be superior to 10-12 programs that are now trying and expect success. We have to have a pipeline of talent that is year over year sustained and have kids dreaming of the chance to be Tigers. We have to have a home court advantage that makes it nearly impossible to win in Columbia.

A good season doesn’t mean you have a good program, just as this current disaster of a season doesn’t mean that Gates can’t coach and is a total failure.
