I said tax revenue increased under Trump. The number of people paying taxes was also up, but not as high as the tax revenue..meaning..on average...people paid more taxes.
There was a chart at the time that talked about whose taxes would go where, but that was assuming no difference in income, which is obviously incorrect....because under an equal income scenario, tax revenue would have gone down.
I don't understand why one cannot use overall tax revenue as an indicator of taxation of the people.
