burden and overall revenues for the government?

With Trump's tax cuts, even though overall tax revenues were up by your admission, I did indeed pay LESS taxes individually.

The tax revenues went up because more people were working...yes, for some people if they were unemployed they paid more taxes when they became employed...but probably would still choose to be employed and pay some taxes instead of remaining poor.

For those individuals already working, if they made more money due to different employment or a raise, then they might have paid overall more in taxes, but as a percentage of overall income paid less than before.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
