plan A for porters was to stay in washington with romar. everyone involved has repeatedly confirmed this.

but IF romar were to get fired for some reason (like losing lots and lots of games), THEN columbia becomes an option, but only if KA is gone.

KA gets fired because he sucks.

romar gets fired because he sucks.

for the Porters, option A is no longer an option and with KA out of the picture in columbia, the new plan unfolds.

there was no master conspiracy to get romar fired, freeing the porters from their chains in washington. it's a fun story and everybody loves drama and intrigue, but it's not real.
