But in judging the success of any individual season, you also have to factor in context.
I would call Scott Drew's first four years at Baylor pretty damn successful, but he had a record of 36-79 (12-52) over those four years. Looking just at the results, you could use a FIJI-type of logic and say he was a failure. But if you factor in the program he took over, he was a huge success.
Not to compare the situations, but you have to consider context when considering success.
KA inherited a team that had a lot of problems. He's addressed some. He's created some others. All of that has to be taken into consideration when assessing next year. And IMO, a 24-win, top-five SEC, NCAA nine-seed expectation is too ambitious.
