It fails in simple logic. It is like saying it's a round square. It's nonsense. You can't be successful under any conditions is not an answer to the question what would it take to be successful. It's a hypothetical question. Hypothetically, we could win every game, and a National Championship.
No rational human being would dare to suggest that an undefeated National Championship would not be successful. Yet, FIJI says there is nothing that could happen to be a success, even with his settling for mediocrity numbers of 24 wins, top 5 in the SEC, and 9 seed or better in the NCAA tournament.
In FIJI's eyes, the Miracle on Ice didn't occur, because it couldn't occur, because it wasn't possible. Nonsense.
