That welfare, for example, should be abolished.
There are plenty of people whose lives have been saved by a temporary handout. But you are correct that it has become an addiction. It is now a permanent situation, not a temporary salvation. Every day.
I remember when being, "on relief" was a stigma to be avoided. Now it's a gravy train to be aboard.
Glad that you support the government effort to save lives in situations like this and not just tell them to toughen up and have the government ignore them.
