Yes, govt help to rescue, save people. That's what national guard units should help with.

Nor should we be helping ukraine, israel, gaza, or anyone else either.

I'd also eliminate welfare, Social security thru a phased approach. We have tens of millions of americans addicted to govt handouts. It would be cruel to go cold turkey.

But that's exactly what will happen when we default on our debt.
