and has no real international success to speak of. I think a big part of it is organizational. Canada keeps getting better while we crash out after one of our best players punches someone and we have to play 10 on 11 in the game we absolutely needed to win.
Our recent history, one of our more talented players didn't perform, and went complaining to his parents and they tried to torpedo our coach and program to get back at him.
It's a matter of people who are too big for their britches needing to be shown the door and a much needed culture change. Nobody on our team is good enough at this level that they shouldn't be expendable if they can't get with the program. I get that we don't have the talent to replace them but it doesn't matter anyway, we won't take the next step without a different approach.
