I agree having the third or fourth best athletes play soccer

That is being coached by dads who never played soccer themselves isn't going to move the needle.



You need the best athletes coaches by competent coaches.


In America we don't have many competent coaches at local levels because few care about soccer and the best athletes don't play the sport.
