Baseball player or NFL player or soccer player.

What I am saying is if the top 10% of US athletes practiced soccer growing up with competent coaches we would be the world power at soccer. That's not a controversial take. We are one of the most populous countries and have some of the most athletic people. What we don't have is an abundance of competent coaches nor an appetite by our top athletes to play the sport.

We just don't care about it.
