example could be produced of a very terrible coach at that level that I'm not aware of. So I'll hedge on the side of caution and say he is the worst coach in the history of major programs that at some point cared about men's basketball.

MU is the only program at a major or midmajor level to hire a D2 coach, that is something that can be looked up and confirmed without following hundreds of midmajors across college basketball history.
