she still had free will. Her upbringing nuture and her nature (being without original sin) I know scandalous, did not negate her free will.

What would have happened had she said no ? I have no idea, but if Jesus was to come into the world and as has been said, pitch his tent with us, he would have had to have been born of a human being.

Was there a plan B ? Thats theological speculation, who knows.
