once was a very high achieving all black high school in Memphis and I had the chance to talk to a number of very successful alumni who were embarrassed by the current state of their school. I had a similar conversation with alumni from Sumner in KCK and they had similar beliefs.

At the height of segregation there were vibrant African American communities all across our nation. Those communities have been destroyed and now successful AAs are forced to flee their own communities if they want their children to succeed as well.

The father has been all but removed from these communities today and it has destroyed them. If you want to fix these schools, businesses and police forces then get the black man back into the black family. This goes for every race but none have been decimated like the AAs.
