in the UK courts? The leap you are trying to make in order to make Steele sound credible is just bizarre. Especially since you are admitting you have no idea what he told the IG. Steele could have easily said "I didn't verify the information in the dossier, but handed it off anyways" which could confirm what the IG already knew.
