What part do you have trouble understanding?

* He was allowed to fire him he didn't

* He is allowed to tell his lawyer he wants him to fire mueller, and then accept or reject his lawyer's legal take on that action. He accepted, hence why Mueller wasn't fired

* Even if he had gone through with firing Mueller, that isn't obstruction since Trump was innocent of collusion/conspiracy in the first place. He is allowed to fire Mueller if he thinks this investigation is an intentional act by enemies (foreign and domestic) to hurt the presidency... which in turn is the same as intentionally hurting the country he is sworn to protect.
