Per the 2nd law of thermodynamics a cup of coffee in a closed room will gradually transfer heat to the room itself until both are the same temperature... room temperature.
From that point, no additional work can be done unless it is introduced from outside of the room... such as from a heater or allowing the sun to shine into the room.
Do you think that there are other universes introducing energy into our universe? If so, is there a limit to how many universes there could be?
If not, where did this infinite amount of mass and energy come from? Who set it all into motion?
