even though I am an atheist because America is a Christian country and no amount of PC bull**** should prevent the amelioration of one of the two major holidays for Christians to celebrate, even if many "Christians" don't spend a second thinking about the birth of Jesus and it's significance.

I don't have the answers and I'm not religious at all, but I respect the right of people to celebrate their religion. That's where I part with many atheists. I don't believe the goal of atheism should be the abolition of religion.
