Well, the reason for the season was the celebration of Equinox, thanks for the great harvest and prayer for blessings to come. The celebration at this time predates Chistianity by a long shot. And that is OK. No one has any idea re: the birth of Yeshua on of five or six kids of Mary and Joseph of Nazareth. The Story is the Key here and it kicks the mother ass as stories go as we all know.
