Whether is soccer or basketball it all goes through leagues and all the good clubs are owned by and run by a major league division 1.Like our D league,AAA,AA in baseball etc.Most of the good players sign professional contracts at age 16,17.College sports are not a big deal and you only see student athletes..you are going to see a Wiggins for example playing in college.Some very good clubs like Barcelona,Real Madrid etc..run facilities starting at age 10 providing education,room and board.
