individual scoring, shot blocking, defenders, size, athleticism, outside shooting, playmakers, ball handlers, depth, experience, and coaching we have all the pieces necessary to compete in the SEC if we get better effort and preparation. The problem is we have a 2 year body of work that suggests that our effort and preparation likely won't be adequate barring unforeseen changes.

I'm not suggesting to write them off. But if things were going to be different and there was going to be something meaningful that came out of the Italy trip, there would be some evidence of it. There are going to be some victories over some atrocious opponents, but we simply don't have a program that can be realistically expected to succeed.
