worse than we were last year, which is different than what I initially expected. I don't think we are as good as last year and I don't think we will be as competitive against good opponents (which sounds silly to write because of course we weren't at all competitive last year in such matchups), but I think we can get back to around the same win total or maybe even exceed it given the schedule. Our 8 win team of 2014-15 I think would dominate this team though assuming equal coaching and effort.

There are going to be games against low majors were our lack of size and scoring won't be a hindrance we can't overcome if we can find a way to cohesively play defense and if we can get adequate effort. I think there are victories to be had despite our roster if the coaching, effort, and preparation all take steps forward.

I think it is going to be a rough, rough year. I'm hopeful we can win 2 or 3 games against decent competition but I don't see it. The frustrating thing is the Italy trip seems to have been a near complete waste, and there is still virtually no evidence of improved coaching or player improvement.
